Help celebrate The First Year of The King’s Trust Green Construction Programme!

Today we've begun the sixth cohort of the King’s Trust Get Ready for Green Construction programme, supporting young people to explore green construction careers and build practical employability skills.

The two-week programme, delivered at the Flēot Green Skills Hub in the City of London, includes hands-on construction activities, green jobs awareness, employability, AI literacy and career planning.

To celebrate both the latest cohort and the first year of the programme, we are inviting industry professionals to join us for a networking lunch on Friday 19 June 2026, from 12pm to 2.30pm.

Guests will have the chance to meet the young people completing the programme, tour the hub, see what they have achieved in just two weeks and support the next generation of green talent.

The programme has already supported 73 young people, with 88% progressing into a positive outcome such as apprenticeships, training or entry-level roles.

“I’ve learned so much from this short programme. I had no knowledge regarding the green industry within construction. This very much opened my eyes to see that any job could be a green job.”
